Terms of Participation & Use — GeneralCounsel360

Welcome to GeneralCounsel360 (“GC360”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Participation & Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GC360 website and platform, including all programs, content, membership, and services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform — including browsing, registering, attending sessions,​ purchasing membership, or submitting information — you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not access or use the Platform.

1. Eligibility & Participation

GC360 is intended for professionals with direct responsibility for execution within organisations, including legal, privacy, GRC, cybersecurity, risk, ESG, and AI governance functions.

To participate in live programs, attend sessions, or purchase membership, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming legally binding agreements.

Participation is subject to GC360 review and acceptance, and may be revoked at any time if misaligned with GC360’s execution-only, non-commercial mission.

2. Account & Access

Certain parts of the Platform require an account, membership, or registration.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date information;

  • Maintain the confidentiality of access credentials;

  • Notify GC360 immediately of any unauthorised use;

  • Only use access for legitimate, non-commercial purposes.

Membership access is personal and non-transferable unless otherwise specified in writing by GC360.

3. Payments & Fees

Membership fees, session fees, and other charges are set forth on the Platform. All fees are in USD and payable at the time of purchase.

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. By making a purchase, you authorise those providers to charge your selected payment method.

All purchases are final unless GC360 specifies a refund policy in writing. GC360 may modify fees at any time with notice.

4. Program Participation Rules

GC360 programs are governed by the following participation standards:

  • Execution-only focus: Sessions must remain practitioner-led and execution-focused.

  • Non-promotional environment: Vendor pitches, selling, and self-promotion are not permitted.

  • Information integrity: Participants must respect confidentiality and refrain from sharing proprietary information.


GC360 reserves the right to remove or deny participation to anyone who violates these standards.

5. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, including text, graphics, audio, video, designs, and materials, is owned or licensed by GC360.

You may access and view content for your personal or internal professional use only.

 

You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display Platform content;

  • Create derivative works based on Platform content;

  • Use Platform content for commercial purposes.
     

Requests to licence or use content beyond permitted use must be submitted in writing and approved by GC360.

6. User-Generated Contributions

If you submit content (e.g., execution examples, practice notes, questions, forms), you grant GC360 a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, adapt, and display that content in connection with the Platform.

You represent that your submissions are non-confidential, non-proprietary, and do not violate any third-party rights.

 

GC360 may remove or refuse to publish contributions at its discretion.

7. Privacy & Data Use

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

By using the Platform, you consent to the terms of the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

GC360 provides information and sessions for general execution insight and professional support. GC360 content is not legal, regulatory, accounting, tax, or professional advice.
 

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • GC360 DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

  • GC360 IS NOT LIABLE for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
     

In jurisdictions that do not allow such limitations, GC360’s liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold GC360 and its affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform;

  • Your violation of these Terms;

  • Your infringement of third-party rights.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA.

All disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform will be resolved through binding arbitration, unless otherwise required by law.

11. Modifications to Terms

GC360 may update these Terms from time to time.

We will post the date of the latest revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
